The Giraffe Manor is an elegant, personally hosted, small and exclusive hotel, famous for its resident herd of giraffe. The Giraffe Manor offers a rich blend of welcoming accommodation, highly trained and friendly staff, as well as one of Nairobi's finest kitchens.

Travellers from all over the world now make The Giraffe Manor part of their East African safari, the only place in the world where you can enjoy the breathtaking experience of feeding and photographing the giraffe over the breakfast table and at the front door.

The Giraffe Manor is surrounded by 140 acres of indigenous forest just outside Kenya's capital, Nairobi. As well as the giraffe, the property is also home to many species of birds, large families of warthogs and the elusive Bush Buck.

Day 2 - 6: Ol Doniyo Wausᅠᅠ -ᅠ Chyulu Hills
For over 20 years Ol Donyo Wuas Lodge was the Africa cognoscenti's dream destination. Tucked away in the spectacular Chyulu Hills, above the heat and malaria, and far away from the tourist circuit, Ol Donyo Wuas was a model for many of the 'bush lodges' that were to follow.ᅠ
Ol Donyo Wuas Lodge is a 20 bed luxury lodge (including 4 beds in the private bush home) in the Amboseli region in south-east Kenya. Ol Donyo Wuas is located in the heart of the Mbirikani Maasai conservation area on the slopes of the Chyulu Hills National Park. The recently re-built new lodge has magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro with beautiful, spacious bedrooms (which are amongst the most attractive in all of East Africa), with d←cor that is both luxurious as well as homely and comfortable in the tradition of the greatest wildlife lodges.
Special care has been taken to create a menu that is exciting as it is varied. Since the lodge re-opened in July 2008, all the guests have raved about the lodge, the food, the people and the experience.
The menu of activities is so exciting that you won't want to miss a minute.

Day 7 - 9: Lemartis Laikipia
Lemarti's Camp is an unforgettable safari hideaway in Kenya's breathtaking northern Laikipia Plateau, one of the last frontiers of virgin wilderness and home to the majestic Samburu people. The twist here is that while the local Samburu community owns the land, the camp itself was built and run by a local Samburu guide - Loyapan Lemarti - and his Kenyan-based fashion designer wife, Anna Trzebinski. This unlikely duo met on safari - he was her guide - and were later married. Their dream camp emerged, nestled in an oasis in a spectacular setting beneath a grove of palms and centenary fig trees
Anna designed every inch of this gorgeous property both inside and out. It's in her genes - her mom is an interior designer and her dad is an architect.ᅠ The camp is open and alluring; both visually and physically connected to the incredible magic of the African bush. All of the rich and colorful furnishings were designed by Anna and handmade by local artisans. There are no set itineraries here. Guests can stay in bed until noon or leave before daybreak to take in the spectacular ornithological paradise. Guests are encouraged to interact with the land and the amazing Samburu people who call it home.

Day 10 - 14: Naibor Camp Masai Mara
Naibor Camp, originally designed by Anthony Russel, is a luxury tented camp, a striking combination of contemporary style and comfort, in the heart of Kenya's world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. The camp is hidden in a grove of riverine woodland on the banks of the Talek River and consists of sweeping pale canvas tents, king sized beds made from local fig-wood, wide sofas furnished with bolster cushions, and wool rugs - a luxurious base from which to explore the Mara. Since Naibor is in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, guests are able to enjoy fabulous wildlife viewing throughout the year.ᅠ Naibor is also strategically placed for the wildebeest migration, being close to all the major wildebeest crossing sites over the Mara River
The main focus at Naibor is to drive out from camp daily to observe and photograph the extraordinary concentrations of wildlife. The Naibor vehicles are all 4 wheel drive Toyota Land Cruisers, open sided with canvas tops, built in fridges; with ice cold drinks available any time. These are ideal for observing and photographing the wildlife, and for getting around in the sometimes difficult conditions characteristic of the Mara habitat.
Hot Air Ballooning can also be arranged for guests at Naibor. This involves an early morning wakeup to get to the balloon launch site for 6.00am, a flight of approximately 1.5hrs over the grasslands teeming with wildlife, champagne breakfast on landing and game drive back to Naibor.

Day 15 - 19: Kilindi Zanzibar

Kilindi is a 15 unit piece of functional art scattered along a picturesque-perfect stretch of Northern Zanzibar. Designed by Neil Rocher in conjunction with some long-serving Tanzanian specialists, Kilindi brings a welcome dash of pizazz to the island. Standing watch over the time-honoured Dhow Routes, along a crescent of coral-bright sand, each of the fifteen pavilions embrace cascading rain-water pools, lush tropical gardens and domed private spaces of rest, indulgence and well-being. The style will be henceforth known as Zanzibaroque, a homage to the unique synthesis of the island's endemic social and historical culture. The domes collect the rainwater, the sleeping areas straddle its storage, and the pools circulate it. We call this logically-eco, rather than eco-logical, because it seems the obvious thing to do.
The stunning design of the Pavilions incorporates surrounding walls for privacy, and large, domed roofs to provide shade and to capture water. The innovative solar-powered water re-cycling system stores the water beneath the bedrooms to provide a natural air-conditioning. It is also circulated around the cascading rain-water pools that each Pavilion enjoys. Waste water is re-cycled in toilets and the luxuriant gardens.
